– Comments: “HY (juvenile) bird; not associating with other waterfowl. Did not appear nervous; upon arriving the bird was in water but came ashore to graze on grass alongside the boat launch ~15′ from our vehicle.
Note: The bird was still present at noon on Saturday, November 8. D.M.
