First American Robin at the end of 6 Foot Bay Road, Buckhorn this morning. However, because there is no open water here, there are still no waterfowl to be seen. Apparently, there are lots of watefowl at the Gannon Narrows end of Buckhorn Lake. Antonia Sinclair

On March 20 at 11 a.m., I spotted a flock of Wild Turkeys foraging by the side of 5th Line Smith near the cellphone tower. They looked very lean. I managed to get a photo. Barb Evett

At noon, on Wednesday, March 19, the following ducks were on the Otonabee River, adjacent to the Cemetery:  1 Green-winged Teal, 5 Long-tailed ducks, 10 Hooded Mergansers Ken Rumble

I had my first Red-winged Blackbird at my feeder in Lakefield early this morning. The Otonabee River is still busy with more waterfowl each day.
