My husband and I saw this Barred Owl this morning along County Road 6, near the little convenience store/gas station at around 8.30 am when we drove back from our morning walk at Petroglyphs Prov. Park. Thought you would like it 🙂

On Friday evening (Nov. 28) at dusk, Luke Berg, Jerry Ball and I were driving south on Hwy 28 when Luke picked out a Barred Owl sitting beside the highway about 4km north of Apsley. As we turned back to see it we saw another Barred Owl 30m from the first one. We drove on south and between Apsley and Northey’s Bay Rd the sharp eyes of Luke picked out two more Barred Owls beside the road – four Barred Owls in twenty minutes!!!  Tony Bigg
