| Our situation is CRITICAL! The final Environmental Assessment, with recommendations for a four lane bridge through the heart of Jackson Park intact, is going to City Council committee of the whole on November 13. This will be followed a week later by a special City Council Meeting, for APPROVAL of the EA, November 20! Both will be held at the Evinrude Centre at 6:30 PM.
“Both of these dates are still tentative”, the City Clerks office said on Friday. I will let you know when they are confirmed.
The most important things you can do to impede this rush to judgment by City Council are listed below:
1. CONTACT ~ Write, phone, or e-mail, your councillors and tell them what you think. You elected them and they are there to represent you! They have an important decision to make and they need to hear your opinion. Use the information in the attached brochure as talking points. Or read more background on our website:

2. PARTICIPATE ~ Find five friends who are opposed to the Parkway and bring them to both meetings at Evinrude, especially the one on Nov. 20th and prepare a speech!
